Ricky Gutierrez

This week’s "Crash the Class" episode was filmed in Kansas City, Kansas where assistant director of enrollment management and institutional Partnerships, Marcus Kidd, and mentor, Nicole Meritt, surprised Ricky Gutierrez. Ricky is a special education teacher at Turner Elementary school and is in his second year of teaching. Ricky was recently announced a 2024 Horizon award recipient and continues to make a huge impact on his students.
